CHURCH, LITURGY AND SACRAMENTS
This course on the Church, Liturgy & Sacraments is designed to give students the essential knowledge about the meaning, nature, history, social teachings and mission of the Church as well as her celebrations on Liturgy and Sacraments. Major themes on liturgical prayer, the paschal mystery, the presence of Christ and the Holy Spirit in the liturgy, participation in community, and liturgical ministries as found in the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Church’s Magisterium are considered.
Thus, this course will enable the students to become instruments of evangelization and liturgical and sacramental practices by integrating their learning about the basics of this course and the ideals of the teachings of St. Augustine in their personal life and community life.
